Chelsea can wrap up mega superstar deal as£100 million man wants to leave Real Madrid

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane

Chelsea transfer target Gareth Bale has admitted that he is playing with anger amid reports suggesting he is seeking to leave Real Madrid.

Bale has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons over the past few months as all indications suggested that he was leaving Madrid during the transfer window, especially after boss Zinedine Zidane came out and pretty much admitted that he no longer wanted the Welshman in his squad anymore.

That led to a lot of transfer speculation that Chelsea were interested in trying to secure a possible transfer deal for the Welshman, as they sought an immediate replacement for the now departed Eden Hazard, despite the fact that they cannot buy any players for at least two transfer windows.

But the transfer window came and went, and Bale had to stay put as nobody was prepared to meet his £100 million price tag, meaning that he would have to stay with Madrid and try to earn a place in Zidane’s starting line-up on a regular basis.

According to fresh reports on Spanish publication AS, Bale has now decided that he does indeed want to leave Madrid and will seek a move away in the coming windows, alerting some of the biggest clubs in the game to a possible deal.

Bale has said he is not unsettled about his future, but is playing with anger after Zidane tried to force him out of the club during the summer transfer window, telling Sky Sports: “You play with a lot of emotion. Anger comes into it of course, but I haven’t got anything to clear my mind about.

“I try and give my best whether here [with Wales] or in Madrid and I will continue to do that.”

Bale is an absolute superstar in the game and still one of the best players at the club, so it was a shock to see that he was put on the transfer list by the Frenchman. So even though Zidane would have liked to sell Bale, the best option is to keep hold as the Welshman is a game-changer.

Madrid are having a tough season and need all the help they can get, and keeping hold of Bale is a very smart decision to make as now he has something to prove.

And if Chelsea are interested next season, they will surely make a move as they are very much interested in the Welshman and would love to add him to their impressive attack.
